Tryout

This batch wasn't for a present or a party, just trying out what I can do with cake. There were too many to eat myself, so I had my sister and her little girl over to help eat them.

Wednesday is my day off. We just love doing nothing, hanging around the house, enjoying eachother. Today was one of those perfect days :-)

New camera!

This is one of the first pictures I took today with my new camera. The old one had a serious sharpness problem lately (as you can see on the previuos pictures) and i was so sick of it! So today I was really impulsive and bought a new one. I'm really happy with it!

Every Child, born in 2008 and living in Ghent, was invited by the city to come and plant its own tree. There was music, free drinks and trees and a lot of kids! We had a wonderfull afternoon :-)

A gift for Alessandra

My friend Alessandra had her 30th B'day party yesterday. She was really excited about the cupcakes i made for Annabels Birthday, so I made her some too as a gift (in her own special girly style). She absolutely loved them.

I drew this a few days ago over lunch. its one of the houses at the 'Korenmarkt'. I'm planning on drawing them all in the future as they are all so pretty!

Finally, after two years, the renovation of the groundfloor of our house is almost done! We really like how it turned out.

Last Sunday we celebrated Annabels 1st birthday at my parents house. It was a beautiful day.
